Facts About Dianne
What first started out as
simple hobby to keep myself from sitting on the sidelines watching my
husband Ron
play and compete, has turned into much more than a hobby. I began
flourishing 4 years ago under the instruction of Linda Hall and finally
joined Ulster in 2003. I am now a Professional Solo Flourishing Tenor
& I play in the Grade
III band. I also play the bass drum in the Grade V band.
I am
the mother of three wonderful kids; Clint, Lauren and Lindsey. My
daughter
Lauren plays with Ulster as well. I
work as an antique dealer and estate consultant.
Born in
Boston, Mass and raised in Prince Edward Island, Canada with my 8
brothers and 4 sisters. My parents, and many of my siblings, still
reside there. I can remember as a child sitting around the kitchen
watching my aunts and uncles play tunes on their fiddles and spoons. We
just finished our
cottage there 4 years ago.
In my
spare time I like to read, bother my husband and spend time with my
kids.
